About David Sorley | The Owner of Total Rural Supplies
David and his wife Sarah are both from families who own and operate highly regarded beef enterprises, Mt Callan Red Brahman Stud and Dance Angus. Being involved in both cattle businesses has given David an excellent understanding of this industry.
As a retailer, David was an integral part of the very successful Toowoomba rural reseller, Bowdler English & Wehl Seed and Grain, gaining extensive knowledge of the Toowoomba and Dalby rural market. After building a great reputation for honest reliable service, he worked for Waratah fencing (a division of Onesteel) where he managed Territories throughout Queensland and the Northern Territory.
Most recently David worked as the National Business Development Manager for Datamars, a rapidly growing rural animal identification supply company. This position enabled him to continue to develop an extensive network of primary producer clients and industry stakeholders. Having a lifetime in the Rural industry starting on the land has allowed David to become a valuable resource to his customers in Dalby and Toowoomba.
